    The area is remote and the environment reminds me of Puerto Rico, but not excited about eating in the warm temperature. Only ceiling fans in the eating area, which is pretty much next to the kitchen, so you feel the heat. The food is provided on plastic plates and the drinks in the cans, so I don't feel like I am in a restaurant, more like a friends backyard. Please refrain from using the bathrooms, as they are filthy. So besides the area to eat and the facilities, the food was quite remarkable. Being married to a Puerto Rican, this food tasted as authentic as the time we were in the PR. We got a plate of rice with beans, with a big plate of pork. Overall I was quite satisfied with the visit.

    Recommendations:
    * clean the bathrooms
    * use real plates and serve the drinks in glasses
    * purchase better quality water, serving people bottles of cheap water is a way to lose repeat customers.

    If you don't mind a loud atmosphere, then this is a good place.  The closes you can get to the beautiful island of PR in FL.  Live music that's takes you back to your roots.  Food is great.  Place needs work but again that's how it is in PR.  It's not a 5 Star restaurant ( my opinion ) but for some it is.  Parking is hard to get.  Prices are responsible.  Would I go back? Yes I would.

    Being in the mood for traditional Puerto Rican food, we chose Rancho Latino. The food was ok but the service was atrocious. I don't blame the waitresses because they only had two servers for over 100 people. The place was full to capacity with people waiting outside and all they had were two servers. We had to wait over 30 minutes just to order our drinks. This late lunch took over two and a half hours from start to finish and it just seemed like complete chaos. The place is small but they do have a few tables outside. They had a small band playing traditional PR music and it was loud! I could barely hear the people in my party and we were all very close together.

    The food was ok! After being extremely hungry and having to wait an hour to get served your basic rice and beans with pork, your expectations seem to rise. My Pernil/Pork was good but nothing like the pork I've had in PR. My rice came out warm as if it had been sitting for awhile. The Habichuelas/Beans were tasteless and bland. I'm used to my wife's cooking which is direct from the island and my taste buds are spoiled in that sense. The Roasted Chicken was good but again, everything came out warm, not hot. We didn't have the patience to order the dessert because it probably would have taken another hour and we just wanted to go home. If I go back, I will go on a weekday and this time I will take out.

    If I could give a negative start I would. Started off to a great start. The waitress was way over worked and no one to help her out. Ordered the bistec ensebollado white rice and fried plantains  because it's my favorite Spanish cuisine. Food took almost an hour to get and when we got it it was dry flavorless and nothing of what I expected it to be. So I asked the waitress to replace it with the something different just not to have to wait that long and it be the same. The waitress comes back with a look on her face and tells me that the owner CHRISTOBAL  said that there is nothing else that he can offer me because he wasn't waiting to waste  any more food on me and there all going to taste the same. The look on my face was shocking. I couldn't believe a restaurant owner would tell a paying customer that and laughed at my face when I asked is he serious. Mind you my husbands food was saltier then a bag of salt I just couldn't believe it. So I cancelled the complete order and left. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN AND I WILL TELL ANY ONE I KNOW NOT TO GO THERE ETHER.  The hype wasn't what I expected. You can go a mile down the road and get wayyyyyyy better service and food for less. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. GO TO LA GRAND PARADA CORBER STORE WAY BETTER FOOD.

    Amazing food!! It is a small place that fills up fast, so it's best to get there early.
